Craving something to eat other than what is available on campus? Philippi has a few off-campus dining options. Fast food places in town include McDonald’s, Hardee’s, KFC, Sheetz and Subway. Philippi has two pizza places, Fox’s and Henderson’s. Both places offer more than just pizza, such as calzones and pepperoni rolls. They also deliver to campus, so for those without a car, this option is great.
If you’re in the mood to sit down to breakfast, lunch or dinner, the Philippi Inn, Lil’ Moe’s Sport’s Bar, The Medallion, The Chinese Restaurant, and Margaritas are all a short drive away. Cooking your own food is also an option and you can pick up everything you need at the local Shop ‘N Save.
At Alderson Broaddus University, there are a few different places on campus that offer a variety of food. The cafeteria offers the most options and provides the most food for the cost. E.J. and Emma’s at the cave is open the latest. Here you can get made-t o-order food or grab-and-go. Jazzman’s is the coffee shop on campus, but they serve more than that. They offer smoothies, pastries, fruit, chips and more. Sub Connection is the newest addition to AB. They offer made-to-orders subs, pizza and salad. One side and a drink are also included with a meal swipe.
